Bal Mahajan & Co. is located right on 100 G T Rd, which is probably one of the noisiest parts of Millerganj. If you spend any time in Ludhiana, you know that G T Road is the main artery of the city. There is a constant hum of engines and horns honking outside our door all day. Our office is simple and functional. We don't have a big lobby or fancy furniture. It is mostly just stacks of paper and people busy at their desks. Being in the 141003 zip code means we are right in the thick of the industrial and commercial heart of the town. During the monsoon season, the road outside gets a bit messy, but that is just how it is in this part of Millerganj. We see the same faces walking by every morning, from the tea stall guy to the other shop owners nearby. It’s a very grounded way to work. We don't spend money on shiny signs or corporate branding. We just focus on what needs to be finished before the day ends. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it never seems to be the right time to stop and do it. It feels like home to us after all these years. Everyone around here knows each other by name, which makes the long hours a bit easier to handle.
