S. K. Impex

Our office is in Sco 128 at SK Tower, which is on Bahadur K Road near the New Grain Market. Being near the market means it’s always lively around here. There are tractors and carts everywhere, especially during the harvest seasons. It makes getting to the tower a bit of a challenge sometimes, but it’s part of the local character. S. K. Impex takes up a good chunk of the space on our floor. We have several people handling different parts of the business, from the accounts to the shipping logs. It’s often quite noisy with everyone talking and the sounds from the market drifting in through the windows. We don’t have a lot of modern decor. Most of the furniture is stuff we’ve had for years. It’s comfortable and it does the job. We drink a lot of tea to stay focused, especially during those long afternoons when the paperwork seems to never end. The staff knows the market area well, so we know where to get the best lunch or which roads to avoid when we’re in a hurry. It’s a down-to-earth place to work. We don’t worry about making a big impression on anyone. We just focus on keeping things steady and making sure the day's work is finished before we head home.
