The Baba Farid Health Sole Wellfare Mission is located right on Ferozepur Road. If you are traveling down the Main Road in Jhande, you will see our place. We are in the Ludhiana 141001 area, which means there is a lot of traffic passing by our gates every single hour. It’s a very active spot. The building itself is quite plain. We don't have any fancy landscaping or expensive furniture inside. Most of our desks and chairs have been donated or picked up second-hand over the years. They work just fine for what we do. We spend a lot of our time dealing with people who are just passing through or who live in the nearby outskirts. There is always someone coming in the door with a question or needing a bit of help with something. The dust from the main road tends to settle on everything, so we are constantly cleaning the windows. It’s a bit of a losing battle, but we try anyway. The atmosphere is pretty casual here. We don't have strict office hours where everyone sits in silence. Usually, there is a lot of talking and moving around. We don't have a big budget for things, so we make do with what we have on hand. It’s a practical way to run a mission. Everyone who works here is just a regular person trying to contribute a little bit of their time to the day's tasks without much fuss.
