Auto Forgings

We have been set up at D-240 in Focal Point, Phase-Vii for a long time now. Auto Forgings is a regular workshop where we handle metal every single day. It isn't a quiet place by any means. If you're standing on the street, you can hear the heavy hammers and the clatter of the machines. The floor is solid concrete, marked and chipped from years of heavy work. Most of the day involves dealing with hot metal and getting it into the right shapes for the orders that come in. Everyone here wears sturdy boots because you're going to get your hands dirty by the end of the shift. It is physical labor, moving heavy parts around and making sure the furnace stays at the right temperature. There is no big front desk or fancy receptionist waiting to greet people here. Usually, if someone comes by to see us, they just walk right into the shop and find one of the guys near the back. Blueprints and checking parts that just came out of the press take up most of our time. The weather in Phase-Vii can get pretty rough, so we keep the big doors open to try and get some air moving through the place. Our small crew has been working together for a long time, so we really know our machines inside and out. It’s just how we do things at D-240 and we keep the focus on the metalwork.
