Our place, Assam Cane Developers & Export Corporation, is located at Bharat Nagar Model Tin Road, number 3722. It’s more of a workspace than a fancy office. We deal with cane products and shipping them out to different places. There is usually a lot of noise from the packing and moving things around. We’ve been at this for a while now. The cane comes in, we process it, and then it gets sent off. It’s physical work. Our hands get calloused and the floor is always covered in scraps. We don’t have a big corporate structure. We’re just a group of people who know how to handle these materials. Sometimes orders get backed up or the shipping trucks are late, which can be frustrating. We just deal with it as it comes. People sometimes stop by to see what we’re making or to ask about bulk orders. We aren't really set up for walk-in retail, but we’re happy to talk to anyone who shows up. It’s an honest living. We focus on the product and getting it where it needs to go. The tin road area is pretty industrial, so we fit right in. If you’re looking for us, look for the stacks of materials near the entrance. We’re usually busy in the back, but we'll hear you if you knock loud enough on the door.
