You can find us at C-44/47 in the Focal Point area. It’s a big industrial patch and we fit right in with the rest of the factories around here. Antarctic Industries isn't a place with marble floors or quiet hallways. Instead, it's mostly concrete and the sound of heavy metal moving around. We’ve got a lot of space, which is good because the stuff we deal with takes up a lot of room. The gates are usually open early in the morning as the first shift arrives. There’s a lot of dust that comes in from the road, so we’re always wiping down the desks in the small office section. Most of the time, the managers are out on the floor anyway, not sitting behind a desk. We’ve had some of these machines for ages and they need a lot of looking after, but they still do the job. It gets loud enough that you have to shout a bit to be heard over the noise of the production line. We eat lunch together in a small break area, mostly just talking about the weather or local news. It’s hard work and your clothes usually end up pretty dirty by the end of the day. We don’t put on any acts here. It’s just about getting the quota done and making sure everything is loaded onto the trucks correctly. There isn't much more to it than that, just keeping the production moving.
