I work out of Ferozgandhi Market in Ludhiana. If you know the area, you know how crowded it gets with all the cars and people moving around. I’ve been doing this for some time now, mostly hosting events and being the one on the microphone. It’s not a corporate gig with a big team; it’s mostly just me making sure things stay lively. Ludhiana is a city that loves to celebrate, so there’s always something happening in Feroze Gandhi Market. I spend a lot of time practicing my lines or checking the sound equipment. It’s a lot of standing on your feet and talking until your throat gets dry. I don’t have a flashy office with glass walls. It’s just a spot where I can take calls and organize my schedule. Sometimes the power goes out or the speakers act up, and you just have to keep the crowd happy anyway. I’ve seen all kinds of parties, from small birthdays to big gatherings that last all night. People here expect a good time, and I try my best to keep the energy up. It’s a job like any other, really. You show up, you do the work, and you go home. My family knows when it’s peak season because I’m hardly ever home. Ferozgandhi Market is a good base for me since it’s central. You get used to the noise and the pace of the city after a while. I wouldn't have it any other way.
