Anand Forging & Stamping

Our place is on Single Cycle Road, right across from the Dhandari Station in Industrial Area-C. Being so close to the station means we hear the trains going by all day and night. It is a very busy part of the industrial area with a lot of movement. At Anand Forging & Stamping, we do exactly what the name suggests. The forging hammers make a lot of noise, and the stamping machines have a steady rhythm that you get used to after a few days. The floor is usually covered in some kind of metal scraps, and there is always a bit of smoke in the air. It’s not the cleanest job, but it is what we know how to do. We have a decent sized shed where all the work happens. The office is just a small corner partitioned off so we can hear ourselves talk over the phone. Most of our customers are other businesses who need parts for their own machines. We spend a lot of time checking the dies and making sure the stamps are hitting the right way. Sometimes the power goes out, which is common in this area, so we have to wait it out or use the generator. It is just a regular shop where people work hard to get things out on time. We don't have a big marketing team, just a bunch of guys who know how to handle steel. We just keep the machines running as much as possible.
