We are tucked away at D-131 in Focal Point, Phase-V. If you’ve spent any time in this part of the industrial area, you know it gets pretty hectic. At Anand Cranks, we’ve got a rhythm that works for us. It’s mostly about the machinery and making sure everything is aligned properly. We aren’t the type to sit around talking much; there’s always something that needs attention on the shop floor. The air smells like oil and metal most of the time, which is just how it is in this line of work. We’ve had some of the same machines for years, and we know their quirks by heart. Sometimes they need a bit of a kick to get going on a Monday morning. We’ve seen other businesses come and go in Phase-V, but we’ve managed to stay put by just focusing on what’s in front of us. Our team is small but we know what we’re doing. We don’t use a lot of big words or have fancy brochures. If someone asks what we do, we usually just point to the work we’ve finished that day. It’s honest labor and it’s kept us going through some lean times. We just take it one day at a time, making sure the work is solid and the bills are paid. It’s not glamorous, but it’s our life and we’re okay with that.
