Amrik Singh & Company

Our place, Amrik Singh & Company, is located at H.No 711, Street Number 4, in Dashmesh Nagar. This is right off Gill Road in Ludhiana. If you’ve been to Ludhiana, you know Gill Road is famous for all sorts of industrial and mechanical work. We operate out of a building that’s partly a house and partly a workspace, which is common in this area. It’s a very local Punjabi setup. The street is narrow, and there’s usually a lot of activity with scooters and small delivery vans moving around. We have been here in Dashmesh Nagar for many years. It feels more like a family than a company most of the time. We don't have a big fancy office or a corporate logo on the wall. It’s just 711, Street 4. We start our day with tea and get straight to the work. The noise of the city is always there in the background. It’s not a polished environment by any means. There’s dust from the road and the sound of machines from the neighbors. We don't really use much technology for the business side of things; we just keep records the old way. It’s a simple, hardworking life on Gill Road. People around here know us by name, not by some marketing campaign. We just keep our heads down and do the work we’ve always done. It is what it is, just a small local shop.
