Amar Paints & Hardware

You can find us on the Devasandra main road in Haibowal Kalan, situated right across from Nine Star Plywood. The road outside is always busy with people and vehicles. Inside, we have all sorts of paint and hardware supplies piled up wherever they will fit. It can be a bit of a tight squeeze when the shop is full of new boxes. We stock the usual items like nails, screws, buckets, and various types of house paint. Our main counter is made of old wood and it shows the wear and tear of many years. We do not really do anything fancy or special here. We just open the shutters in the morning and wait for the first customer. Usually, it is someone looking for a specific size of drill bit or a small can of primer for a repair. We have a lot of regular customers from the houses around here. It is a very simple setup. Some of the labels on the paint tins have faded because of the sun coming through the front door. We do not worry about that too much since the paint inside is perfectly fine. The shop gets a bit dusty because of the road work that always seems to be happening nearby, so we have to wipe things down often. There is no air conditioning, just a couple of old fans that hum while we work. We keep things basic. If we do not have something, we try to get it in for the next day.
