Agrofabs (India)

We are based right near the Jalandhar Bye-Pass Chowk on the G.T. Road. It’s a loud spot with all the highway traffic passing by, but it’s convenient for getting things in and out. Agrofabs (India) has been operating here for some time. We deal mostly with metal fabrication and stuff related to the agricultural sector. The workshop is where most of the action happens. It’s full of welding machines, cutters, and piles of raw steel. You’ll usually find the floor covered in metal shavings and the air smelling like burnt iron. We don’t have a fancy showroom. If someone wants to see what we do, they just walk into the shed. The guys working here are good with their hands and don't care much for office clothes. We make things that need to be sturdy because they get used out in the fields or in rough environments. Sometimes the heat in Jalandhar gets to be a bit much, but we keep the fans going and get through the orders. We have a small desk for the accounts and paperwork, but that’s not really the heart of the place. We just build things that work. Most of our customers are local farmers or small contractors who need something specific made. We don't do much advertising; people just know we are here by the chowk.
