You can find us at 1219/8 on the first floor in Harnam Nagar. We are very close to the railway crossing, so we hear the trains go by all the time. It’s just part of the background here at Advik Compware Pvt. Ltd. Being on the first floor means people have to walk up, but they don’t seem to mind once they know we have what they need. We work with computers and various hardware bits. The shelves are full of motherboards, power supplies, and those little screws that everyone always loses. We started this because we liked taking things apart and seeing how they worked. Now, it’s a full-time thing. The office isn't decorated much because we use the space for storage and testing equipment. Sometimes the crossing gate stays down for a long time and traffic backs up, but inside we are usually just focused on a repair or an assembly. We talk to people about what parts would work for their budget. It isn't about selling the most expensive thing, just what fits. We get a lot of local students and office workers coming in. They usually need a quick fix or a spare mouse. We keep things simple. We don't have a big reception area, just a counter where we talk to whoever walks in. It’s a decent place to work and we know the neighborhood well. Sometimes the noise from the trains makes it hard to hear the phone, but we manage.
