Aar Gold

Our place is at 71 Club Road. Aar Gold isn't a big shop with a sign you can see from a mile away. It’s a bit more private than that. We deal mostly with the metal itself. Most of the day is spent checking the prices and talking to people who are looking to buy or sell. It’s a lot of waiting around for the market to change. The office is pretty simple. We have a heavy safe, some scales, and a few chairs for when people come by to talk. It stays quiet mostly, which is nice compared to the traffic outside on Club Road. We don’t do a lot of the fancy jewelry designs you see in windows downtown. We focus more on the gold itself. Sometimes we have people coming in who are quite nervous, and we just sit and talk through the weight and the purity. There is no rush here. We’ve been in this spot for a while now and the locals know where to find us. We open the doors, turn on the lights, and just see who the day brings in. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy enough. We don’t have a big staff, just a few of us who know how things run. The carpet is a bit thin in spots and the coffee is usually cold, but it’s our space and it works for what we do.
