Down on Giaspur Road in Dhandari Kalan, things are always moving pretty fast. Our place is tucked in there among a lot of other industrial spots, and you can usually tell you are getting close by the sound of the kilns and the heavy equipment. We deal with ceramics, so there is a lot of heavy lifting and making sure things do not crack before they get to where they are going. Dhandari Kalan is a busy area, especially with all the transport workers and the local shops. We spend most of our time out in the warehouse area rather than sitting behind a desk. The air is often thick with the smell of the industrial processes nearby, but you get used to it after a day or two. We do not have any big corporate slogans, we just focus on the tiles and the clay and making sure the orders are filled correctly. The road outside can get pretty clogged with trucks, so getting in and out takes a bit of patience sometimes. It is a gritty, hardworking part of town, and we fit right in with the rest of the businesses along Giaspur Road. We have some regular customers who have been coming to us for years because they know we are just regular people doing a regular job. It is not a glamorous life, but there is a certain satisfaction in seeing the finished ceramics stacked up and ready to ship out to the building sites.
