Our office is on the first floor of the Galaxy Building, right there in Thakurganj. If you know where the State Bank of India is in Tahseen Ganj, we are just above it in FF 9. It is a busy building, especially with people going in and out of the bank all day. The City Plaza is right across from us, so there is always a lot of noise and movement. We do architecture and construction work, which means we spend a lot of time looking at site maps and brick samples. The office gets a bit dusty because of all the files and the construction materials we keep around. It isn't a quiet place, but it works for us. We started here in Lucknow because this is where we know the streets and the way things get built. Usually, someone is at the desk answering the phone while the rest of us are looking at blueprints or talking to contractors. The stairs up to the first floor can be a bit steep if you aren't used to them. We have a few chairs for visitors, but mostly the space is taken up by drawing boards and folders. It’s just a regular workspace where we try to keep track of different building projects without getting too overwhelmed by the paperwork. Being in Tahseen Ganj keeps us close to the old parts of the city where a lot of work happens.
