Vidhyut Engineering

Vidhyut Engineering is sitting right at No-68 near the Sai Mandir. Being near the temple is nice because we hear the bells in the morning and it’s a bit of a landmark for people looking for us. We are at Marimata Chaoraha in Ekta Nagar which is usually a very busy crossroads. There is always someone shouting or a scooter zooming past our front door. Inside the workshop it’s mostly just tools and metal and the smell of oil. We do our engineering work there on the big benches. It’s not the cleanest place but that’s because we are actually working with our hands all day. We don't have a big front office or anyone to greet you at the door. You usually just walk in and find one of us covered in grease or looking at a drawing. We have been here for a good amount of time and the locals know us as the guys who stay late to finish a job. The walls have some old calendars on them and the tea pot is almost always on. It’s a very simple setup without any of those modern gadgets you see in the big city offices. We just focus on the task at hand and try to make sure we don't make mistakes. It’s hard work but it’s just what we do to get by in this neighborhood. We keep the shop open as long as the work keeps coming.
