Unnati Travel

Unnati Travel is situated in the Indira Nagar area of Lucknow, quite close to Sarvoday Nagar. It’s a part of town that has grown a lot, but our little corner feels pretty much like it always has. We are not on the main highway, so it’s slightly tucked away. The office is a simple room with a tiled floor that we try to keep clean despite the mud people bring in during the monsoon. We have a couple of big desks pushed against the walls and some stacks of old newspapers in the corner. It’s a quiet place to work most of the time. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who take turns being at the desk. The neighborhood has a mix of houses and small businesses, so there is always a bit of life on the street. We usually start the day by opening the shutters and letting the light in. The furniture is nothing special—just some basic chairs that have been here for years. We handle all the travel queries as they come in, mostly manually writing things down before putting them into the system. There’s a tea vendor just down the lane who brings us chai in small glass cups twice a day. It’s a steady, unremarkable routine, but it’s what we know. People usually find us by looking for the landmarks in Sarvoday Nagar as they walk down.
