Ujala Medical Centre

Ujala Medical Centre is situated at B-2247 in Indira Nagar. It’s a big house that we’ve used for medical work for quite a while now. Indira Nagar is a huge neighborhood, so we see all sorts of people coming through. The address can be a bit tricky to find if you aren't looking at the block numbers closely, but most of the locals can point you in the right direction. We have a small front desk where we keep the ledger and the phone. The rooms inside are separated by thin walls, so it’s not always the quietest place, but it’s functional. We have a lot of regular patients who come in for their monthly checkups. We spend our time talking to them about their health and writing out notes. The chairs in the waiting area are a bit worn out, but they are comfortable enough. We don't have a big corporate structure or anything. It is just us and a couple of assistants making sure things run smoothly. We get a lot of sunlight through the front windows in the afternoon, which makes the place feel warm. Sometimes we run out of forms and have to go get copies made down the street. It’s a very normal, everyday kind of place. We just try to be here when people need us and keep the clinic running day after day. It’s a simple routine.
