If you are near Munsi Puliya in Indira Nagar, you are basically right where we are. Tour Travel Services is at Shop 6, which is in a very busy part of Lucknow. The traffic around the puliya is almost constant, with auto-rickshaws and buses constantly moving by. Our shop is small and sits right in the thick of it. We get a lot of dust from the road, so we are always wiping down the desks and the computer screens. It’s a noisy spot, but it’s convenient because everyone knows where Munsi Puliya is. We have a couple of chairs for visitors and a small cupboard where we keep all the files. The walls are a plain color, and we have a few old calendars hanging up. There isn’t much room to move around, but it works for us. Most of the people who come in are locals who live in the nearby blocks. We spend a lot of time on the phone or just watching the chaos of the intersection outside. Sometimes we walk over to the nearby stalls to get some samosas or tea during the break. It’s a very standard Lucknow shop experience. No fancy lighting or air conditioning that works all the time, just a basic place to sit and do our daily tasks. We’ve been here long enough that the noise doesn't even bother us anymore, it's just how Munsi Puliya is.
