THREAD & HEM LLP

Thread & Hem LLP is tucked away in the Amethiya Salempur Ward of Kakori. We are right near the old Pathaka Factory, so if you hear some bangs, you know where they’re coming from. The place is listed under Rinki Singh’s name. Kakori is a famous place for history, but for us, it’s just where we do our daily work with threads and sewing. It’s a bit of a walk from the main Lucknow road, but it’s a nice area. Our workshop is simple. We have some machines and a lot of thread spools in every color you can think of. It’s not a big factory, just a local ward office where we get things done. The address is 226101. Sometimes the street gets a bit muddy when it rains, making it hard for the delivery bikes. We spend our days mostly measuring and cutting. It’s a lot of manual labor, honestly. My hands are usually tired by the end of the day. We don't really have a boss in a suit; we just all work together on the floor. It’s a bit messy with all the scrap fabric lying around, but we clean up once a week. People from the village often stop by to chat. It’s a very communal way of doing business, which suits us just fine. We just keep our heads down and finish the work that is on the table.
