The Smile Clinic

The Smile Clinic is situated in a bit of an interesting spot. We’re over in Alambagh, near the Parthkram Ford Hospital. People sometimes get confused because we’re also associated with the Gomti Nagar area, but this is where you’ll find the physical door. Finding a place to park near the hospital can be a nightmare during the day, so most of our patients just take an auto-rickshaw. The clinic itself is fairly modest. We don’t have a big neon sign, just a simple one so you know you’re at the right place. Inside, it’s mostly white walls and the smell of antiseptic. We do a lot of routine dental work. Teeth are a lot of trouble for people, so we stay pretty busy throughout the week. The waiting room is small, and sometimes the magazines are a year old, but people don't seem to mind. We aren't a high-end corporate chain with polished floors. It’s just a few of us working here, trying to help folks with their toothaches or whatever else is bothering them. The flooring is a bit worn in spots from all the foot traffic over the years. We like the neighborhood because it feels lived-in and real. If you’re coming from the Gomti Nagar side, give yourself extra time for the traffic on the main road. We usually have the radio playing softly in the background to drown out the street noise. We try to be as helpful as we can for anyone walking in.
