Tanity Tex Private Limited

Tanity Tex is located right in the middle of the action in Lucknow's Chowk area. We operate out of the basement of the Kusumdeep Complex, which is a bit of a maze if you aren't used to it. The address is care of Hari Narian Rastogi. Chowk is always loud and busy with people, and being in a basement means we don't see much of the sun during the workday. It stays a bit cooler down here though, which is nice when the Uttar Pradesh heat gets intense. Our space is packed tight with textile goods. There isn't much room for anything other than the fabric and the people working. We spend a lot of time counting stock and writing down numbers in our books. It’s a very traditional way of doing things, but it’s what we know. The air is always a little heavy with the scent of cloth and the noise from the street filters down to us. We have a few staff members who handle the loading and unloading. It’s a lot of physical work, dragging bags and rolls through the narrow corridors of the complex. We don't have any flashy signs or corporate branding. It’s just Tanity Tex and our daily routine of checking orders. Sometimes we have tea with the other folks in the complex while we wait for a delivery truck to find a parking spot in the crowded streets outside. It’s just how life goes in this part of town for us.
