Our office is located at 246 Vipul Khand 3, which is right by the City Mall in Lucknow. It’s a convenient spot because everyone knows where the mall is. We do a lot of technical work here, dealing with surveys and soil research. It involves a lot of muddy boots and heavy equipment at times. When we aren't out in the field, we are back at the office writing up reports and looking at data. It’s not the kind of job that looks glamorous. There are maps spread out over most of the tables and folders stacked up in the corners. We’ve been working in the Vipul Khand area for a bit now. The team is small but we know our stuff. We don't spend money on fancy decorations because we are usually busy with the actual research. People come to us when they need to know what’s under the ground before they start building. It’s honest work. Sometimes the weather makes it hard to get the surveying done, but we just wait it out and go back the next day. Lucknow is changing fast, and there’s always something new being built. We just play our part in making sure the ground is ready for it. It's a quiet office most of the time.
