Star My Travels

Being on the third floor of Garden View Apartment has its ups and downs. The view isn't exactly of a garden, mostly just the roofs of other buildings and the busy street below. We are at 8 Rana Pratap Marg in Hazratganj, which is a pretty central spot in Lucknow. The Axis Bank main branch is right there, so it makes it easy to explain where we are to anyone who is lost. Our office, room 302, is just a standard room with some desks and a few extra chairs for visitors. It’s a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time, but we make it work. The elevator is a bit slow, so a lot of us just take the stairs if we aren't carrying anything heavy. Working in Hazratganj means there is always something going on outside. You hear the horns and the people shouting throughout the day. We spend most of our time on the phone or typing away on the keyboards. It’s not the kind of place where things are perfectly polished. We have some tea stains on the coasters and the walls could probably use a new coat of paint soon. But it’s where we spend our days and it feels like home to us. We just handle the travel stuff as it comes and try not to get too stressed when things get busy or the phones ring.
