St. Marys Polyclinic

Our polyclinic is located out on Kursi Road, specifically in the Gourabagh area near the Gudamba post office. It is a bit of a trek for some, but since we are right here, it is convenient for the people living in this part of town. St. Marys Polyclinic isn't a massive hospital with a hundred wings. It is more of a compact place where different doctors come in on different days. You might see a specialist on Tuesday and a regular doctor on Wednesday. The waiting room isn't very large, so people end up chatting with each other while they wait for their names to be called. There is a small desk at the front where we keep all the files in folders. It is a bit old-fashioned, maybe, but it works for us. We see a lot of kids and elderly folks from around Gourabagh. The traffic on Kursi Road can be a nightmare sometimes, which makes people late for their appointments, but we don't mind much. We just fit them in when they arrive. The building has some character, with its own quirks like a door that squeaks or a light that flickers a bit in the hallway. We don't spend much time worrying about how things look as long as everyone gets seen. It is a straightforward little clinic serving the neighborhood and keeping things running as best as we can every single day.
