Sparsh Pet Clinic

In Sector J of Aliganj, Lucknow, you’ll find our pet clinic at B 13 / C. It’s a lively place, mostly because of the animals that come through the door. We have dogs barking at the cats in carriers and the occasional bird or small pet making noise too. The clinic isn't very large, so things can feel a bit tight when a big dog comes in with its owner. There is usually some fur on the floor no matter how much we sweep, but that’s just part of the job when you work with animals. We have a small exam table and a shelf full of various medicines and bandages. Most of our day is spent checking ears, giving shots, or talking to owners about what their pets are eating. It’s not always easy work, especially when a pet is scared and trying to hide under the chairs. The neighborhood is fairly quiet, but our clinic stays busy with people from all over Aliganj bringing in their pets. We have a few cupboards filled with leashes and bowls that we keep for emergencies. The smell of the place is a mix of disinfectant and wet dog, which you stop noticing after the first hour of your shift. We don't have any fancy waiting room amenities, just a place for people to sit while we take a look at their animals. It's a busy, messy, and honest way to spend the day.
