K. S. Projects Process Engineers Private Limited is situated out on I I M Road, specifically near Prabandh Nagar. We are just off Sitapur Road, right on the Hardoi By Pass Road. It’s a bit of a trek from the main city center, but the location works for the kind of engineering projects we handle. The traffic on the bypass can be heavy, especially with the trucks, but we’ve gotten used to the noise. Our office isn't anything special to look at, just a functional space where the engineers sit and work through blueprints and plans. We’ve got a mix of people here, some who have been with us for years and some newer faces. We spend a lot of time looking at technical specs and talking to contractors. Being near the IIM campus gives the area a specific feel, though our work is much more hands-on. We don't do much in the way of self-promotion; we usually get our work through word of mouth or old connections. There’s always a kettle on for tea, and the desks are usually piled high with folders and drawings. It’s a practical environment. We focus on the process side of engineering, making sure the math and the designs actually work in the real world. It can be stressful when deadlines are tight, but we just put our heads down and get through the work together.
