Our business is based in Lucknow, over in the Durga Puri area. The address is actually listed under Late J Ram's name, who was a very well-known figure in this neighborhood of Lilnahtra. It is a part of the city that stays busy from morning until late at night. We do a lot of creative work here, mostly focusing on designs and making different types of clothing. When you walk inside, it feels more like a workshop than a proper office because there are fabrics draped over the chairs and sketches pinned up on every available bit of wall space. Lucknow is a place that cares a lot about clothes, and we try to do our small part from this little corner of the city. The building we are in is quite old, but it has those high ceilings that help keep the air moving when the heat gets bad in May and June. We have a small group of people who do the stitching and the embroidery work, and the sound of the machines is pretty much constant throughout the day. We don't have a big marketing department or any of that corporate stuff. Most of our customers come to us because they know the quality of the work we have done before. It is a lot of long hours and it can be hard on the eyes, but it is what we know how to do. We usually wrap up late and have a quick meal nearby.
