You can find us at 7/570 in Vikas Nagar. It’s a bit of a maze back here if you aren't used to the layout of Lucknow’s residential sectors. The building is tucked in among houses and other small shops. We’ve been at this spot for a while, and the neighborhood has changed around us quite a bit. There used to be more trees, but now it’s mostly concrete and parked scooters everywhere. Our space is pretty simple inside. We have a desk that’s always covered in folders and a couple of rooms for seeing people. The floor is that old-fashioned tile that stays cool even when the sun is beating down outside. Lucknow summers are no joke, so we have the fans going full blast all day long. Sometimes the electricity cuts out for a few minutes, and we just sit there in the quiet until it kicks back on. It’s not a polished corporate office. We have a clock that ticks a little too loud and some old chairs for people to wait in. Most of the folks who come by are from right here in Vikas Nagar, so we see the same faces quite often. We just go about our business, checking the logs and making sure things are running okay. It’s a practical setup, nothing more and nothing less. We just focus on the daily tasks that need doing and making sure the place stays tidy for whoever stops by next.
