S. S. Medical Systems India Private Limited

Our office is on the fourth floor of Silicon Tower, which is part of the Old Bhopal House area in Lalbagh. S. S. Medical Systems India Private Limited has been in this building for a while now. Being up on the fourth floor gives us a bit of a view of the street, though it’s mostly just other buildings and trees. We deal with medical systems, which basically means a lot of technical equipment and machines for hospitals. The lift in Silicon Tower is a bit moody, so sometimes we have to wait a while or just give up and walk up the stairs. It keeps us fit, I guess. We have a few rooms filled with spare parts and some desks for the paperwork. It’s usually pretty quiet except for when the phone starts ringing. We don't have a big sign outside or anything flashy. Most people who come to see us are engineers or hospital staff who already know the way. We spend a lot of our time coordinating with technicians who are out in the field. It’s a lot of logistics and making sure people have the right tools for the job. We aren't really into big corporate culture; we just drink our coffee and get to work. Lalbagh is a busy area, so there’s always something happening outside. We just try to keep things running smoothly and stay on top of the technical side of things. It is a solid, everyday job.
