Aminabad is one of those places that never seems to stop, and our shop is right in the middle of it on Ganga Pd Road. We are at number 85. RK Silver Creations is not a huge company. We are a small LLP and we like it that way. We work with silver every single day. The workshop is a bit messy sometimes, with bits of metal and tools on the benches, but we know where everything is. We make all sorts of things from silver, and we focus on the details that regular people care about. We aren't trying to sell to big international markets; we just serve the people who walk through Aminabad. The air is always full of the sounds of rickshaws and people talking. We drink tea and talk to our neighbors while we work. It is a very local way of doing things. We don't have a polished image or a big advertising plan. We just open the shutters in the morning and get to work. Sometimes we have a lot of orders and we have to work late under the old lights. Other days are quiet and we just clean up the shop. It is a simple life and we are proud of the silver we create here. It might not be a huge factory, but it is our place and we do things the way we know how.
