Radius Joint Surgery Hospital

You can find us over at 2402 Gomti Nagar, right on Pickup Wali Road. It’s a busy stretch of road, so there’s always the sound of horns and engines in the background. The hospital itself feels steady, if that makes sense. We deal with a lot of joint surgeries, so you see people hobbling in on crutches or being helped by their family members. The lobby isn't very big, but we keep it clean. There’s a specific smell of antiseptic that hits you as soon as you walk through the main doors. Our nurses are usually running back and forth between the wards and the surgery prep rooms. It’s a lot of walking for them. The rooms for the patients are basic, with the metal beds and the adjustable trays for food. We have a few windows that look out toward the road, where you can see the tea stalls and the traffic piling up in the afternoons. Sometimes the elevator takes a bit longer than you’d like, so most of us just use the stairs if we’re in a hurry. We keep the lights on late because there’s always something to do, whether it’s checking on someone after surgery or getting the charts ready for the next morning. It’s not a quiet place, but it’s a place where things get done. We just keep our heads down and focus on the patients and the daily recovery routines.
