Prem Privision Store

Prem Privision Store is located at 30, Hevet Road in the Hussainganj area of Lucknow. We are right opposite the Diamond Hotel, which makes us quite easy to find. My name is Prem and I have been running this store for many years. It is an old building with thick walls that keep the place relatively cool during the hot Lucknow summers. I stock a variety of household goods like dal, rice, sugar, and spices. I also have some small toys and stationery for the children. The shop is a bit cluttered because I try to offer as much as I can in a small space. The wooden shelves are old and have many layers of paint on them. I spend a lot of time organizing the stock and making sure everything is in its place. Most of my customers are regulars who live in the surrounding lanes. We know each other's families and often share a bit of news while I pack their groceries. I don't use a computer for billing; a simple pen and paper have always worked fine for me. Sometimes the street gets very noisy with all the rickshaws and cars, but inside the store, it feels familiar and steady. I take pride in being a local shopkeeper. It is not about making a lot of money, but about being a part of the life here on Hevet Road. We are open every day to serve whoever walks through the door.
