Parker Udyog India is located right in the middle of the daily chaos at No. 56, Gaura Market on Gwynne Road. If you know the Aminabad area, you know it’s never really quiet around here. There are always rickshaws moving, people shouting, and carts being pushed, and our shop is just another part of that big rush. We deal with various industrial items and mechanical parts, so the shelves are always packed with heavy boxes that look identical to anyone else but make perfect sense to us. It’s a bit of an old-school way of doing things, keeping track of our inventory in ledgers and talking to our suppliers on the phone all morning long. The space isn't very large, and sometimes we have to move three or four boxes just to get to the one specific item at the very back of the shelf. We've been at this spot for quite some time now, and we've seen the whole market change and grow around us. We don't spend our money on fancy displays or bright lights because most of our customers just want to know if we have the specific bolt or valve they need. It’s very straightforward work. We drink a lot of tea while waiting for the morning deliveries and try to keep things organized despite the constant foot traffic right outside the door. We’re just a regular shop in Aminabad trying to get through the work day and help out the local buyers.
