Pappu Crane Service

If you find yourself in Transport Nagar off Kanpur Road, look for F-1 and that is where we are. It’s a busy area full of trucks and drivers taking breaks between long trips. Our spot is usually crowded with cranes and some old parts we keep for spares. The air always smells a bit like diesel and exhaust, which is pretty much the standard for this part of Kanpur. We have been operating from here for a good while. The guys here don't talk much, they just get to work when a call comes in for a lift. We handle a lot of the heavy stuff that comes through the transport hub. It’s not the cleanest place, but we keep the cranes in decent shape because that’s what matters at the end of the day. There’s a small tea stall just down the road where we go when things are quiet. It is a tough job sometimes, especially when we have to go out in the middle of the night to clear a breakdown on the highway. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. Most people just know the name Pappu and they know we are near the main road. We keep our logs in a big notebook and try to stay on top of the schedule. It’s honest work and it keeps us on our feet. The cranes might be dusty, but they work.
