New Royal Hospital

We are located right on Hardoi Road, directly opposite the Manju Tandon Hospital. It is a busy stretch of road, so there is always a lot of movement outside our front doors. New Royal Hospital is a local place where we take care of people who need medical help without the massive crowds of the city hospitals. We have a few wards and some basic rooms for patients to stay in. The floors are scrubbed every morning, and the smell of antiseptic is something you just get used to after ten minutes. It is not a shiny new building; it has some years on it, and you can see that in the corners. But the beds are clean and the fans work well to keep the heat away. Our nurses and staff live nearby, so they know many of the families who come through the door. We handle a bit of everything, from fevers to small injuries that need stitching up. It can get stressful when a lot of people arrive at once, but we just take it one person at a time. We don't have a big corporate board or anything like that. It is just a group of us trying to run a decent hospital for the folks around Hardoi Road. We keep the lights on 24 hours a day because you never know when someone is going to need us in the middle of the night.
