Lucknow can get incredibly hot, so the cooler is always running in the corner. We mostly deal with contractors and local shopkeepers who need reliable supplies for their projects. We don't have a fancy reception desk or anything. You just walk in and talk to whoever is available. We handle everything ourselves, from unloading the trucks to doing the accounts. It’s a lot of manual work and we often end the day with dusty clothes. We like the pace here. It’s busy but not impersonal. We know the people in the neighborhood and often share a tea with the regulars. There’s no marketing talk here. We just show the products we have and tell you the details. Sometimes we run out of space and have to stack boxes in the hallway, but we make it work.
