Woody Wood Furnitures

We are located at Nariman Point, right on Free Press Journal Marg near the Jhotta Mall Road. It is a very famous part of the city, but our shop, Woody Wood Furnitures, is more about hard work than being fancy. There is usually sawdust on the floor and the smell of varnish in the air. We spend a lot of time moving heavy wooden frames and checking the joints on chairs. It is a noisy street outside with all the cars and people heading to the big offices nearby. We have been at this spot for a long time. People come in looking for something sturdy for their homes. We don't have a showroom with bright lights and soft music. It is more of a workshop feel where you can see the wood being worked on. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time parking on Mall Road, so we end up carrying tables quite a distance. It is physical work and our hands are usually rough from it. The sun hits the front of the shop in the afternoon, making it quite hot, but we keep the doors open to let the air circulate. We just focus on making things that won't break the moment you sit on them. No big sales pitches here, just us showing you what we have finished lately. It is a steady rhythm of sawing, sanding, and staining from morning until we close up for the evening.
