Purys Electroniks

Purys Electroniks is right here in the Novelty Building at number 5-A. I’ve been running this shop for a good while now, mostly dealing with different kinds of electronic parts and fixing things that people bring in. It is not a huge space, but we have managed to cram a lot of stuff onto the shelves over the years. You can find us easily once you get into the building, just look for the sign. Most days involve a lot of soldering and looking at circuit boards under the light. Sometimes it gets a bit messy with all the wires and components scattered around, but that is just how a repair shop works. My brother helps out when things get busy, especially when a lot of people drop off their old televisions or radios at the same time. We don't have a fancy website or anything like that, just the shop and our tools. It stays pretty cool inside despite the weather outside. People from the neighborhood usually stop by just to chat or ask if a certain part is back in stock. We try to keep the common stuff on hand so nobody has to wait too long. It is a simple operation and we like it that way. I usually keep the radio on in the background while I work, mostly just to have some noise while I'm focusing on the smaller pieces. If you are walking past the Novelty Building, you’ll see our door. We’ve seen the area change a lot since we first opened up here, but the work stays about the same.
