Our office is located in Hazratganj on Wazir Hasan Road. It is actually a ground floor flat, number GF-2, inside House 193 which everyone calls Kumar Khara House. We have been in this spot for quite some time. It's a quiet area compared to the main market, which is nice when you need to focus on complex ledger entries. Kumar Khara & Company is basically a local setup where we deal with accounting and audits for people nearby. We don't have a big reception or anything like that. You just walk in and someone is usually sitting at a desk covered in papers. Lucknow is a city where word of mouth matters more than anything else. People find out about us because their father or their neighbor came here ten years ago. We handle a lot of the regular compliance work that businesses around Hazratganj need. Sometimes the traffic on Wazir Hasan Road gets a bit much in the evenings, but it's a good location otherwise. We keep a fairly relaxed atmosphere in the office.
