Kanti Clinic

Kanti Clinic is situated in Gauri Mkt over in Sarojini Nagar, Lucknow. We are quite close to Kanpur Road, which is always a very busy stretch. Being near the market means there is always a lot of noise and people moving about. We’ve been here for several years now. When we first opened, the area was much quieter, but now everything has built up around us. The clinic itself is quite plain. We have a desk, a few benches for waiting, and the basic medical equipment we need for daily checkups. Most of our visitors are people from the local colonies who find it easy to just walk over. We don't have any fancy air conditioning, just a couple of sturdy ceiling fans that do their best during the Lucknow heatwaves. Sometimes the power cuts out and we just have to sit in the shade for a bit until it comes back. The tea stall right across from us is where I get my tea every afternoon. It’s a very local way of living. We see everything from kids with scraped knees to old folks with their usual aches and pains. We keep our records in big cardboard folders on the shelf. There is no corporate feeling here at all. It is just a neighborhood clinic where we try to do our job and keep things moving. Sarojini Nagar is a good place to be, and we are happy to stay right here.
