Our shop is on Doodh Mandi Road, right opposite Hotel Kaveri here in Gomti Nagar. If you know the area, we're also quite close to the Musafir Khana. We have been dealing with plywood and wood materials for quite a long time now. It is a busy road, so there is always noise from the traffic outside, but we like being in the middle of everything in Lucknow. We keep a lot of stock in the back because people usually want things delivered right away. Most of our days are spent loading trucks or talking to carpenters who come in looking for specific types of boards. It’s a dusty job sometimes, but that is just part of the business. We don't have a fancy showroom with air conditioning and bright lights. It’s just a regular warehouse-style shop where you can see the actual wood you are buying. People come to us from all over Gomti Nagar because they know we are here and we carry the basic stuff they need for their homes. We aren't doing anything revolutionary, just selling plywood and making sure the counts are right before the truck leaves. Sometimes we run out of things and have to wait for the next shipment, but we try to keep the staples in stock. It’s a family-run kind of vibe, nothing too formal. We just open up in the morning and stay until the work is done for the day.
