Jagrani Hospital

Jagrani Hospital is located on the Ring Road in Adarsh Nagar, specifically in the Kalyanpur east area. Being on the Ring Road means we get a lot of people who are just passing through, but most of our patients are from the Adarsh Nagar neighborhood. It’s a lively part of Kalyanpur, and there is always something happening outside the front doors. The hospital building has been around for a while and has its own quirks, like the way the front door sticks sometimes when it’s humid. We have several wards and a place for people to wait, which usually has a few folks chatting or checking their phones. It’s not a corporate type of place where everything is cold and sterile-feeling; it feels more like a part of the community. The staff knows the local shopkeepers and we often get our tea from the stall just down the road. Sometimes the Ring Road gets backed up with trucks, which makes it a bit noisy, but we’re used to the sound of the traffic by now. We focus on the basic healthcare needs of the people living around here. There’s no big fancy sign, just the name of the hospital above the entrance. It’s a practical place for practical people who just want to get healthy and go back home to their families. We do our best with what we have here every day of the week.
