Iqra Health Clinic

Iqra Health Clinic is right in the middle of Maulviganj in Lucknow. Specifically, we are at Hata Suleman Quader. If you know the area, you know how tight the lanes can get around here. It is a very old and busy part of the city. We have been operating from this small spot for a long time. It isn't a large place with many rooms. It’s just a couple of rooms where we see people who aren't feeling well. Usually, it’s the common stuff like fevers, coughs, or stomach issues. The morning starts with opening the door and letting some air in, though the air in Maulviganj is always full of the smell of street food and exhaust. We have some old plastic chairs for people to sit on while they wait their turn. There is no big receptionist desk or anything. We just manage the crowd as they come. It gets really crowded on market days. We know most of our patients by their first names because they live just a few blocks away. My nephew sometimes sits at the front to help with the register. We use a lot of handwritten notes. It’s a very simple operation. We don’t have a website or any big advertisements. People just know we are here by word of mouth. It is a humble clinic for the local folks who need a quick checkup without any fuss. The walls could use some paint, but the medicine is what matters.
