Hindustan Unilever Limited

Being located over here in Hussainganj, right near the Chutki Bhandar Inter College, means there is always a lot of noise and energy around. Our address at 56/19 in Bagh Aina Bibi is easy enough to find once you know the local landmarks. We deal with various goods that Hindustan Unilever Limited puts out, and the warehouse area stays pretty packed most of the week. It gets dusty, and the Lucknow heat doesn't always help, but we have our fans running and we manage to stay on top of things. You can see the students walking by the college gates all day long, which gives the neighborhood a lively feel. Inside, it is mostly about checking lists and making sure the boxes are stacked right so nothing tips over. We have a small area where we sit for lunch and talk about local news or whatever is happening in the city. It is a simple setup, nothing like those big glass buildings you see in the movies. We have got our own way of doing things, and it works for us. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but that isn't really a priority when there are deliveries to handle. Most of the people working here have been around for a long time, so we all know each other’s habits. It’s just a practical place for practical work where we try to get things out on time.
