Hare Krishna Traders

Hare Krishna Traders is located on Kanpur Road in the Krishna Nagar area. If you know that part of town, you know it’s one of the busiest stretches of road you can find. There is always a lot of noise from the traffic and people moving about. We are right in the middle of it. Our shop is mostly filled with stock and crates, depending on what we are trading that week. It’s a bit of a squeeze to move around sometimes because we like to keep a lot on hand. We spend our mornings checking what came in on the trucks and what needs to go out to customers. It’s a very hands-on kind of business. We don't have a fancy website or a lot of high-tech gadgets; we mostly just use our ledgers and talk to people face-to-face. Krishna Nagar is a good spot for us because so many people pass by every hour. Sometimes we just stand by the door and watch the chaos of Kanpur Road while we wait for the next delivery. It gets dusty with all the vehicles, so we are constantly wiping down the counters. We’ve been trading here for a while and have gotten to know the other shop owners nearby. It’s a hardworking neighborhood and we fit right in. We usually stay open until the evening rush starts to die down and the street gets a little quieter.
