You can find Shiva Batteries over at No. 2/436 Vivek Khand. Being in Gomti Nagar, we get a lot of people stopping by because their car won't start or their home backup is acting up. Our shop is full of heavy black boxes and cables. It’s not the cleanest job in the world—your hands usually end up with some marks by the end of the day. We spend a lot of time testing voltages and checking water levels. It’s basic stuff, but it’s important. People come in looking a bit stressed because their power is out, and we try to get them sorted as quickly as we can. We don't have a big waiting room with fancy chairs. Mostly people just stand around the counter and talk while we look at their battery. The street outside in Vivek Khand is always moving, so there’s a lot of noise from the traffic. We’ve been in this spot for a good while, so most of the locals know they can just drop by. We don't do much advertising; word of mouth usually does the trick. Sometimes the shop gets crowded with old batteries waiting to be recycled, and we have to clear some space. It’s just a regular neighborhood shop doing a regular job. We open up, handle the batteries, and go home. Simple as that.
