Our little spot here in Kapoorthala is pretty straightforward. People mostly know us as Gaurang Clinic and Center For Homoeopathic Research. We spend a lot of time looking at old books and notes because that is just how homeopathy works for us. The office isn't very large, and we have kept the furniture simple over the years. Kapoorthala is a lively area, so there is always some noise from the street coming through the windows, but inside we try to keep things calm. We get a mix of people visiting us. Some have been coming for years, and now they bring their kids or even their grandkids. It’s not like those big corporate hospitals where you are just a number on a screen. Here, we actually remember who you are and what we talked about last time. Sometimes we get busy with the research side of things, looking into how different remedies behave, but the main thing is just talking to the people who walk through the door. The waiting room has a few chairs and some old newspapers that people actually read while they wait their turn. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us handling the desk and the consultations. It is a quiet way to spend the day, really. We like being part of the local scene here in Kapoorthala and don't see any reason to change how we do things. It works for us and the patients.
