Our center sits over at Victoria Street Chowk within the Nakhas area of Lucknow. Being right across from Shia PG College makes the spot very easy to locate for anyone in the neighborhood. We handle various language classes and basic computer training here. The building is one of the older ones around, but it works fine for what we need. Since this is a busy part of town, there is a constant hum of noise from the street below. Inside the rooms, you will find computers and basic furniture set up for the students. A fancy reception area or staff in suits just doesn't fit the way we work. It’s mostly a small group of us who have been here for a long time. Everything stays pretty informal. When a student walks in, we usually just sit down and talk plainly about what they want to learn. Power cuts happen occasionally, so we just wait them out like everyone else. Complicated systems and marketing slogans aren't things we bother with. Most of the people studying here are locals from Nakhas or nearby parts of Lucknow. It is a practical place where people come to gain some extra skills for their own use. We try to keep the atmosphere relaxed so nobody feels pressured while they are trying to study. It’s just a normal day-to-day operation in a busy city that keeps us occupied from morning until evening.
